as a therapist, I truly believe that the relationship between us matters just as much as the tools we use. you deserve to feel safe, connected, and comfortable with your therapist, like you can breathe a little easier when you log on to our session. that’s why I offer a free 15-minute consultation call before we get started (we’ll schedule that after you fill out my New Client Questionnaire!).

Hopefully, this page gives you a sense of who I am and what I’m all about!

let’s get the official stuff out of the way, because your therapist should be well-trained!

I received my Master of Mental Health Counseling from the CACREP-accredited counseling program at Boise State University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in both Colorado (LPC.0021272) and Idaho (LPC.8904). I’ve received training in somatic practices, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care, and I’m deeply influenced by modalities like Internal Family Systems (IFS), Individual Psychology, polyvagal theory, and body-based work. I'm also a registered yoga teacher (RYT-200), which has deepened my ability to support clients in connecting with their bodies as part of the healing process. I regularly seek out continued education and clinical consultation, because growing—as a therapist and a human—is a lifelong practice.

before I became a therapist, I was a person deeply curious about what it means to be human. I’ve spent years in my own therapy chair, navigating big transitions, complicated family dynamics, anxiety, self-doubt, and the slow process of returning to myself. that lived experience informs my work every day—not because I have all the answers, but because I know how powerful it is to be supported while you're asking the hard questions.

my therapist journey

long before I became a therapist, I was a client who was trying to make sense of big feelings and big questions. therapy became a space where I could breathe a little deeper, be a little more honest, and slowly get to know myself. that space—and the people who held it for me—changed my life.

I became a therapist because I know how powerful it is to feel safe with someone. to feel seen, not judged. supported, not fixed. I wanted to offer others what my therapists gave me: room to unfold, room to be complicated, and room to heal.

while I bring clinical training, tools, and techniques into our work, I also bring my lived experience. I know what it’s like to navigate family dynamics, anxiety, self-doubt, and big identity shifts. I’ve had to unlearn people-pleasing, learn how to feel my feelings, and figure out how to listen to my body after years of ignoring it.

I believe therapy is a space where you get to be fully human. and if you’re ready to explore that—messy, meaningful, healing humanness—I’d be honored to meet you there.

my interests

I’m happiest when I’m moving my body, making things with my hands, wandering outside, or hanging with my pup, Ferguson (who, let’s be honest, I am absolutely obsessed with). I’m a curious hobbyist—always up for trying something new. Right now, I’m deep in my latest project: building out a van! When I’m not doing that, you’ll probably find me knitting a sweater, sewing some sort of clothing, or just following whatever creative itch shows up that day.
